Nippon pastry plate. Antique Nippon Morimura porcelain pastry or dessert plate.
The round plate has a hand painted light blue and pink floral pattern encircling the rim with light gold highlighting the rim with beading. Some of the gold has worn and the plate is priced accordingly.
The small decorative center is also gold with a raised floral pattern.
The plate is free of chips, cracks and crazing. As noted there is loss of gold around the rim of the piece.
The back of the plate has a red Nippon hallmark with the wreath and M in the center dating it from 1911 - 1921.
