German Porcelain Bowl. Antique German porcelain scalloped handled bowl by Erdmann Schlegelmilch. The bowl has a gold scalloped rim with images of a salmon colored flowers. It is divided into 3 sections with a handle.
The hallmark on the bottom identifies the bowl as having been made by Erdmann Schlegelmilch in the early 1900's. The German porcelain factory was founded in 1891 by two brothers and named after their father. The on this bowl hallmark was first used beginning in 1902. The factory closed in 1931.
I think the bowl dates around 1920- 1925.
This is a beautiful bowl in in lovely condition with no chips, cracks or damage. There may be a little loss of gold along the rim but it does not take away from the beauty of the bowl.
